When a soldier gets back from an assignment and sees a package from you sitting on his or her bunk, there is guaranteed to be a big smile on their face!!!  This small gesture of your appreciation and some words of encouragement go a LONG way to a soldier away from their home and their family. 

SurvivalStraps for Soldiers - Executive Summary:

1.  Thousands of troops are in harms way on the battlefield instead of home with their families.

2.  We are able to enjoy the freedoms of America with our families because of the sacrifices that our Men and Women in uniform have made.

3.  We need to show our support for all our Men and Women in uniform and let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers.

4.  SHIPPING:  We will send the care packages you purchase directly to a soldier deployed overseas.  Our shopping cart requires your shipping address when you check out.  We will not send the care packages to your address.  We will send the care packages directly overseas to the troops.  If you are ordering items for yourself, along with care packages, we will send you your items to your shipping address, and we will send the care packages you purchased separately to the troops.

If you have specific troops you would like to send care packages to, we can accommodate this.  After you order, email us your order #, the soldiers name, and the APO address you want us to send the package to.  We will send it directly to them.

5.  The care package includes a Survival Bracelet, many treats (jolly ranchers, lifesavers, ect...), and a personalized card from you.

6.  We must also do all that we can for our Men and Women in uniform who are coming home wounded.

7.  SurvivalStraps is donating $5 for every care package purchased to the Wounded Warrior Project.

SurvivalStraps for Soldiers - The Long Winded Version:

Many of the brave Men and Women of our Armed Services are in harms way, instead of home with their families.  We here at SurvivalStraps are extremely thankful to all of our service men and women, and realize that we are able to lay our heads down on our pillows safely at night because of the work that they do.  That is why we are launching SurvivalStraps for Soldiers care packages.  This is an affordable way to give a soldier a gift as well as some words of encouragement to let them know how much they are appreciated.  We also will be donating $5 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every one of the care packages sold.  Please JOIN US by showing your support for the troops and letting them know that they are in our thoughts and our prayers.

Details:

1.  What is in the SurvivalStraps for Soldiers Care Packages?  

1. One Survival Bracelet with side release buckle.
2. Many treats like Jolly Ranchers, Life Savers, and different hard candies.
3. A personalized Thank You card from you.  You can enter what you want to tell the soldier when you check out.  We will print what you write directly on the card. 

2.  Who will get these care packages?  We will be sending the care packages to troops on the battlefield deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq.  We will be sending them to service members from all branches of the military.

3.  What should I write in their card?  This is your personalized card to your soldier. It can be a simple "Thank You for your service".  Or, you can write your soldier something more detailed, letting them know how much you appreciate their service, and the sacrifices they are making for us.  Anything you write will be great.  The goal is to show your support.  We will attach exactly what you write in their card.

4.  How will the soldiers get a Survival Bracelet that fits them?  The majority of what we send will be the average size.  However, we are also going to send several smalls and larges to each unit.  Each unit we send care packages to will receive several.  The soldiers will be able to trade, and should get one that fits them the best.

5.  Do I have to know a soldier serving overseas to send a care package?  No.  We have thousands of deployed soldiers who would love to receive a care package from you.

6.  Can we send a care package to a specific soldier?  Yes.  If you have a specific soldier you would like to send the packae to, please email us your order #, the soldier's name, and their APO address.  We will send the care package directly to them at the address you provide. 

 7.  What does the care package cost?  The cost of each care package is $19.95.  We are also donating $5 for every care package sold to the Wounded Warrior Project. 

8.  Is there a shipping charge?  Yes, there is also shipping cost.  It is the same as with all of our gear.  Shipping starts at $4.75.  However, it maxes out at $10.50.  So, if you buy 7 care packages, shipping is $10.50.  If you buy 100 care packages, shipping is still $10.50.

10.  Can I order other things at the same time I order a SurvivalStraps for Soldiers care package?  Yes.  For example, lets say you order 3 different Survival bracelets for for your family.  You also order a SurvivalStraps for Soldiers care package.  We will send the 3 Survival Bracelets to you, and we will send the Care Package to a soldier overseas.

11.  I would like to get more involved with SurvivalStraps for Soldiers. What else can I do to help?   Please help us spread the word about SurvivalStraps for Soldiers.  We ask that you encourage your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you know to get involved and purchase a care package.  If you have a Facebook page, please become a fan of our page and send it out to all of your friends and co-workers.  If you are a member of a forum, please post a thread and let other members there know about the care packages.  Ask your employer to get involved and purchase several.  We would love to be able to ship hundreds, if not thousands, of packages over to soldiers this year.

We must honor the Men and Women in uniform who serve our country and protect our freedom.  They come from all walks of life and from every part of our country.  Time and time again, they have traveled to the dangerous corners of the world and have defended our safety in the dark of night far from home.  Just as they have stood tall for our country, we must always stand by and support the Men and Women in uniform and their families.  Even if you do not purchase a SurvivalStraps for Soldiers care package, please take action and do something for a member of the armed services this holiday season.
