Clark Family has five in the Military

This is a very cool story about an incredible American family. 5 of the kids are in the military. They were recently in a magazine and Mr. Clark was kind enough to tell the reporter about the meaning that his SurvivalStrap has taken on. We pasted what he said about SurvivalStraps below. To father Michael Clark, family is the most important thing in his life. But the next most important tangible thing comes around his right wrist: A survival bracelet. Received as a Christmas gift last year, the bracelet is a dog tag held together by a rope and meant to be used in emergency situations. “I never take it off,” Michael said as he showed the personalized message on the dog tag — the names of all his children who served in the Air Force. All of his family members hope to get bracelets to remind them of each other, while four of the Clarks’ five children serve in the Air Force.“It’s just something I wear that’s really special,” Michael said. “We always hear of these stories how soldiers and other people have used it not only as a bracelet ... but how it helped their mission.” U.S. Army Sgt. David Jankowski of Lima, N.Y., told the Survival Strap website: “While conducting a mission, my rifle sling was cut by the vehicle ramp door. I unraveled my (bracelet) and used it to make a makeshift sling. Thanks to (this), I was able to continue the mission with positive control of my weapon.”
