Sergeant Noah Galloway, retired US Army, believes in his responsibility to raise awareness for organizations and causes that have positively impacted his life. On December 19, 2005, Noah lost his left arm above the elbow and left leg above the knee in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in Yusafiah, Iraq. He was quickly transported to Germany to receive medical treatment and was unconscious for five days. Noah woke up late in the evening on Christmas Eve to find out he had lost two of his limbs and also sustained several injuries to his remaining leg and his jaw.
Fitness allowed Noah to begin the healing and recovery process following his injuries. Since then, Noah has made a commitment to wellness and inspiring others to enlist healthy habits by establishing The No Excuses Charitable Fund. While Noah proudly supports organizations serving wounded veterans, like Operation Enduring Warrior, he continues to focus his charitable efforts in sharing the importance of fitness – which saved his life.
